Jennifer Adams, from Tacoma, WA, the reigning Ms. Wheelchair America 2014, watches the judging. Adams, who has a BA in psychology and a Master’s in counseling, is a motivational speaker. She sees her disability as a gift, which “actually forges something inside of you, a strength maybe other people don’t have.”
